Plan Commission referrals approved included a conditional-use permit for an eating establishment at 11320 W Bluemound Road (Cupatosa Kitchen & Cafe LLC) and a land-combination at 11811 W Bluemound Road.
The Government Affairs Committee advanced multiple items: a new Class B beer and reserve class B liquor license for North 48 MKE LLC d/b/a North 48 Bar (agent Jordan Cole) and an intergovernmental agreement for urban search and rescue response services. A dispatch-service review with McMahon Associates was approved 12–4 after separate consideration.
From Financial Affairs the council approved: an early delivery and reallocation to accelerate a ladder truck purchase from the 2027 to the 2026 capital budget; contracts for police uniforms and equipment for 2026–2028; towing-service contracts for 2026–2028; a $100,000 amendment to the 2025 budget for the state and local cybersecurity grant program; and three state municipal agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for congestion mitigation and air-quality projects to update traffic-signal controllers, provide remote communications to signal cabinets, and supply advanced traffic management-system software.
The Board of Public Works recommendations included a relocation order and acquisition plan for Blue Mound Road sidewalk improvements (a DOT project), a concrete sidewalk repair contract awarded to Milwaukee General Construction for $1,060,891.59, a streetlight conversion final payment, and the city's intent to perform street and alley improvements during the 2026 construction season. Item 5 in that packet required one member's recusal and passed 15–0–1.
All items listed in the meeting packet that were called for a single vote passed either unanimously or by the counts the clerk recorded; where the packet contained typographical errors, council members corrected the record during consideration (for example, clarifying that an item described as a "land division" was a parcel combination). The clerk later conducted roll-call votes to ratify bills and claims, which passed unanimously.
