"At the applicant's request, staff is recommending that the item be tabled until it can move forward with two other applications that the same developer has under consideration," planning staff told the commission, recommending an indefinite tabling and a full re-notification process when the project returns for final action.
Commission members asked whether the table would carry a return deadline; staff said no deadline was set and that when the applicant is ready the city will start the public hearing process from scratch so interested parties receive proper notice.
Commissioner Paul moved to table the case with Commissioner Chase seconding. The commission voted unanimously to table the item; staff will publish new public notice before any future hearing.
No public commenters signed up to speak on the item. The tabling preserves the right of the community to review the consolidated applications when they are formally re-noticed.
