The Lawrenceville City Council on Feb. 11 tabled a rezoning request for 464 West Pike Street and moved multiple other land-use items to the Feb. 23 regular meeting.
City Manager Chuck Warbington told council that, at the applicant’s request, RZM2025-00023 (Curt Thompson; 464 West Pike Street) would be tabled to the March 4, 2026 work session and the March 19, 2026 regular meeting. Council approved an amended agenda to reflect the change; Council Member Victoria Jones moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Bruce Johnson, and the motion passed with the mayor and all council members recorded as voting "Yea."
Todd Hargrave, Director of Planning and Development, presented four other land-use items and answered council questions. Hargrave said RZR2025-00031 (Scott Smith; 151 Honeysuckle Avenue), SUP2025-00119 (Sultan Hassan; 715 Paper Creek Drive), SUP2025-00120 (Marco Burgos; 725 Grayson Highway) and BFR2025-00003 (Amit Gupta; 377 West Pike Street) will be sent to the Feb. 23, 2026 regular meeting agenda. Hargrave told the council, “This item will be sent to the regular agenda, February 23, 2026.”
The council took no final land-use votes at the Feb. 11 work session; the moved and tabled items will return for formal action at the dates Hargrave and staff identified.
The council is scheduled to consider those items on Feb. 23; RZM2025-00023 will next appear on the March 4 work session and the March 19 regular meeting per the applicant’s request.
