Lieutenant Brad Yates of the Louisiana State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section told the committee the attended/unattended language had created loopholes in administrative hearings and that the bill remedies those issues and prepares for the arrival of autonomous tractor-trailer operations that are already operating in other states.
Senators adopted the amendment set without objection and the committee reported the bill with amendments, moving it forward for further consideration.
