She said the chapter's priorities include hours of employment, transfers, health and welfare, leaves, evaluation and discipline procedures, layoffs, wages, holidays and vacations, bus drivers, reclassification, and other class specifications.
Luna said the chapter looks forward to a collaborative, solutions-focused bargaining process and emphasized classified staff's role in district operations. She referred questions to "Chris, our interim chapter president." The board did not take action on the statement; Luna's remarks were recorded during the agenda item for comments from SDTA/AFSCME.
