Human Resources staff explained that state law requires the district to disclose the costs associated with any collective bargaining proposal before final board approval. The AB 1200 documents presented have county office approval and were placed before the board for action.
HR reported a tentative agreement with the San Mateo Elementary Teachers Association reached May 1 and ratified by SMETA members.
