Communications committee reelects Amy Westfield as chair

A second was offered and, after a voice vote with no opposed responses heard, Chair Westfield was declared re-elected. The committee did not record individual roll-call tallies for the voice vote.
Committee members expressed appreciation for Westfield’s leadership over the past year and noted progress on foundational documents that guide the committee’s work. "We have worked really well as a team and pulled together some really foundational documents," Westfield said during her remarks.
Next steps include updating committee rosters and continuing implementation of the communications strategy under the chair’s oversight. The committee will also finalize assignment of two primary "content captain" accounts that will manage social posts to avoid accidental quorum issues while providing a process for other commissioners to submit material for posting.
