Scotland Public Library Board elects 2025 officers, plans discussion on extended hours

On Jan. 14, 2025, the Scotland Public Library Board elected a slate of officers for the year and set an item to revisit library hours at its next meeting.
Chairperson Joanne Todd moved that the secretary cast the board's vote for the slate nominated at the December 2024 meeting; Bobbie Maschka seconded. The motion passed with members recorded as "all in agreement." The board recorded the following officers for 2025: Chairperson Joanne Todd; Vice Chairperson Beth Delaney; Treasurer Angela Maschka; and Secretary Brenda Gagnon.
The action followed routine procedural business after the meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chairperson Joanne Todd. The meeting roster listed nine attendees.
Board members also agreed to discuss a possible extension of library hours at their next meeting and developed the February meeting agenda. The meeting was adjourned at 7:32 p.m. Minutes were submitted by Brenda Gagnon.
