The Village of Antioch board Monday approved three consecutive actions to enable a new retail development at the northeast corner of Route 173 and Lincoln Avenue, each passed by roll‑call vote.
First, trustees approved ordinance 25‑O1‑02 granting the special‑use permit for the proposed development (Outlets 1–3). The board then adopted resolution 25‑O2 approving the site plan for Core Acquisition LLC’s marketplace outlets 1–3. Finally, the trustees approved resolution 25‑O3 granting a preliminary and final plat of subdivision for the same property.
The presiding official called for motions and roll call votes were recorded for each item; staff described the approvals as related steps toward permitting the project and noted the actions are all tied to the same parcel and developer. "Motion carries," the presiding official declared after each recorded roll call.
Board members did not request substantial changes during the public meeting; the approvals were presented as routine land‑use actions following staff review. Planning staff later told trustees that future filings for building permits, landscaping, and any required traffic or engineering studies would follow the approvals now on the record.
The resolutions and ordinance were recorded with staff‑provided identifiers on the agenda as 25‑O1‑02 (special use), 25‑O2 (site plan) and 25‑O3 (plat).
