Developer representative Mike Knowles said the project saves vegetation by relocating storm infrastructure and that the applicant would consider modest demarcation of preserved open space to prevent homeowners from encroaching on protected areas. Council members raised minor clerical questions about the deed language and expressed support for ensuring preserved natural areas are clearly delineated in the recorded documents. The council moved, seconded and approved the final plan per the planning commission’s recommendations.
