Ann Arbor DDA announces board member Steve Bremer’s resignation

The chair of the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority announced March 25 that the board had received a resignation letter from board member Steve Bremer, who accepted a new position outside the DDA district and is therefore no longer eligible to serve on the board.
"He has taken a new position, which is outside of the DDA district, which would then disqualify him for continued participation in the board," the chair said, and offered thanks for Bremer’s service to the board and the city.
The announcement was made during member communications; the chair and other board members expressed congratulations and well wishes. No replacement or interim appointment was discussed at the meeting. The board continued with the agenda, approving the consent agenda and later voting to forward the FY 2027 budget to city council.
