Coogan repeated the oath and pledged to support the constitutions of the United States and the State of New Jersey and to “faithfully and justly perform the duties of the office.” After the swearing-in the commission offered congratulations and brief informal remarks.
The appointment was presented as part of the meeting’s consent and ceremonial business; the roll-call vote accompanying the meeting’s consent actions recorded Commissioners Lance Landgraf and Maria Mento and Mayor Bridal voting in the affirmative.
