Josh (fleet staff) told the board EB Ford offered “the most for our trades by quite a bit,” and recommended the award. Chair called for the vote and the board approved the bid award. The board previously assigned the bid evaluation to staff to allow time to verify trade deductions and responsiveness.
The approval follows the board’s procedural motions earlier in the meeting to accept no further bids, assign procurement reviews to staff, and then return for a final award.
