Resident Cecil Young asks council to investigate alleged unjust termination

Cecil Young addressed the Bridgeport City Council during public comment to ask that the body and the mayor look into what he described as his unjust termination and respond to prior council requests to investigate.
"I'9ve given you documentations in black and white. I'9ve given you audio tapes. I'9ve given you video tapes," Young said, urging council members to review recordings he said include statements from city officials and state labor board commissioners. "Download my show this Wednesday...Cecil Young's show...you'9re gonna see all the evidence in black and white. You'9re gonna hear doctor Evans. You'9re gonna hear Jody Paul. You'9re gonna hear city officials and the state labor board commissioners...confessing."
Young thanked Councilman Ernest Newton for supporting his request for review and said he would continue to press the council until he gets a response. He framed his remarks as a fight for justice, saying "I want justice" and warning that he would not stop speaking out.
