Wildwood Crest adopts salary ordinance and approves multiple routine resolutions

The Wildwood Crest Borough Commission on Oct. 15 adopted Ordinance 14-69, amending section 59‑3 of the borough code to update the salary ordinance, and approved a slate of routine resolutions including an application to the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Authority and several procurement actions.
The ordinance was placed on second and final reading by title only and a public hearing was opened; no members of the public spoke on the measure. Following roll-call votes, the ordinance passed on second and final reading. The clerk read the ordinance’s caption as amending section 59‑3 to fix and determine salaries and compensations and to provide for their raising and payment.
In the same session commissioners authorized submission of an application for Urban Enterprise Zone administration funds covering Jan. 1–June 30, 2026, and adopted an amendment to resolution 25‑289 to reflect updated specifications for an F350 vehicle and reduce its not‑to‑exceed amount from $90,933 to $68,120. The commission also awarded a 2026 contract to Trinity Code Inspections, LLC for on‑site plumbing and electrical inspections and entered a national cooperative pricing agreement with the NJ EDGE program.
Commissioners formally designated trick‑or‑treat hours on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m., and a motion to pay all properly authorized bills was approved. All recorded votes on the listed ordinance and resolutions were carried by roll call.
