- Contract amendments and procurement moves: The committee advanced several contract items including a $550,000 increase for Midwest Veterinary Supply (total $1.24M), a contract increase for freeway mowing services (Payne Landscaping and Fontenot Landscaping — combined increases exceeding $2M across items listed on the agenda), and an EV infrastructure amendment to Walker Miller Energy Services (an increase of $700,000 bringing the total to about $13.7M). Members asked administration for additional detail on specific projects (site plans, amenity lists and deployment details), and several items that raised operational concerns (notably the geese-management contract) were postponed for further review or clarification.
