Council names vice mayor, confirms TPO and coalition delegates and board liaisons

During its Nov. 19 meeting the Satellite Beach City Council made routine appointments for the coming year, naming a vice mayor and confirming delegates and board liaisons.
The council nominated and approved Jody Rozicky to serve as vice mayor beginning in January. The council also designated the mayor as the voting delegate for the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and named a delegate/alternate arrangement for the South Beaches Coalition; council members indicated flexibility to rely on a member from another city within the coalition to serve as alternate when scheduling conflicts arise.
Council reviewed board and liaison assignments for 2026 (Planning Advisory Board, Rec Board, Library Board, Pension Plan Boards, Sustainability Board, Beautification Board and Youth Council) and voted to keep the assignments as proposed. The council noted the next meeting is Dec. 3 and confirmed logistical arrangements and expected absences.
