• Contract 6007714 (Jefferson Chevrolet) — furnish car and light truck parts and service, 2 years, $90,000 (100% city funding): Motion to approve; sent to new business with recommendation to approve.
Other committee actions: the committee received and filed dangerous buildings findings and orders (items 7.5–7.7), approved a petition to hang approximately 22 banners promoting a sports event on Washington and Jefferson (7.8), approved vacation of alleys for 4630 Crane LLC (7.9) and advanced a petition from Wayne State University for a pedestrian bridge encroachment (7.10) to new business. A request for a legal draft of an ordinance to regulate rental application fees (item 6.1) was noted and will be brought back in one week.
