Approved and sent to formal with recommendation to approve: - 7.1–7.13 — Multiple emergency and blight-funded demolition contracts (various contractors and amounts listed on the agenda). - 7.26 — Traffic-sign hardware contract (Dyna Engineering Ltd., Canada) for $167,220. - 7.27 — Two-year lease and service for an aqueous parts-cleaning machine (Safety Clean Systems) for ~$55,000. - 7.29 — Supply-schedule amendment adding DLZ, OHM Advisors, PEA Group and HDR Michigan (overall schedule cap $81.3 million). - 7.28 — Bus shelter / bench contract approved and sent to new business with request for site list (shelters: shortlist of roughly 110 locations; benches: up to 200 sites authorized).
Items removed, deferred or sent to new business: - 7.14 (contract 3091332 for backfill at 5558 Ivanhoe) — removed from the committee agenda for administrative processing while environmental testing and other issues are addressed. - 7.15 (contract 6007671, $4.3M turnout gear) — moved to new business so councilmembers can be briefed on procurement/local-sourcing before final action. - 7.16–7.25 — Health department Ryan White and Ending the HIV Epidemic subrecipient contracts were approved by the committee and sent to new business with recommendation to approve. - 7.30 — BPW authorized to submit a $16,000,000 BUILD grant application for the West Verner (Woodmere to Central) streetscape; council will receive follow-up materials.
Other procedural items: - Several memos (6.1–6.9) were scheduled to return on dates between one and three weeks as requested by members; 7.32 and 7.36 were received and filed.
