Senate recognizes Delaware Civil Air Patrol for cadet training and emergency work

Senator Lawson introduced the resolution and invited Delaware Wing representatives. Ruto said CAP performs homeland security missions with DelDOT and emergency management agencies, flies practice search-and-rescue sorties, conducts aerial photography for the Delaware Emergency Management Agency, and runs a cadet program that advances leadership and flight skills. She thanked the Senate for continued support of GIA funds that enable cadet training and squadron formation.
The Senate recorded a roll call on House Concurrent Resolution 96 and declared it passed with 19 yes and 2 absent.
