Chair Weitzy recused herself from the vote to approve the draft minutes of the Oct. 22, 2025 meeting. Commissioners moved and seconded the minutes’ approval; the motion passed with two abstentions and the remaining commissioners voting in favor. The chair’s recusal was recorded on the public record.
Later in the meeting the commission considered and approved the proposed 2026 meeting calendar, which keeps regular meetings generally on the fourth Wednesday, with a few scheduling adjustments planned to avoid holidays and provide flexibility for special meetings. The motion to adopt the calendar passed unanimously.
Both actions were procedural and do not change commission policy. Staff said the 2026 calendar will be posted on the city website, and the approved minutes will be archived in the commission record.
