Scotland selectmen appoint Democratic registrar and two justices of the peace

In the same meeting the board appointed Susan Smith and Terrance Delaney as Justices of the Peace in a single motion. Selectman Michael Gurnack made the motion to appoint the two candidates, Selectman Bart Laws seconded, and the motion carried.
No members of the public spoke during the meeting’s public comment periods, and the board moved on to other business after the appointments. The board adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
