At the March 31 meeting, the Mayfield Town Planning Commission appointed Steve Anderson as its chair.
A commissioner moved to volunteer “mister Steve Anderson as our chairman,” and after brief discussion about whether the zoning-administrator role could conflict, Anderson said he was willing to serve for a year and try to get the commission set up. He noted, “I may not spend as much time as I did while I was full time mayor.” The motion passed by voice vote.
Members thanked Anderson for taking on the duties; the appointment is procedural and the commission continued into its scheduled DADU and annexation business.
