Council members approved Ordinance No. 907 on a 6-0 vote to prohibit parking on the east side of North A Street from Highway 5 to H Avenue West after a motion by Yarkosky and a second by Merle Regenold. The council also approved what the minutes record as Ordinance No. 908 to close, vacate and dispose of an alley (Lot 3, Subdivisions 4–7) after a motion by Yarkosky and a second by Kathy Mobley; that motion carried 4-2 with Regenold and Don Benson recorded as voting no.
Separately, the council voted to set a public hearing on the alley disposal for Oct. 16, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. (Williams moved; Yarkosky seconded; motion carried 5-1 with Regenold voting no).…
