An email from Boonton Main Street Executive Director Natalie Spingold requested Main Street closures for June 5 and Oct. 2 (4 p.m. to 9 p.m.) for scheduled events; the council approved both requests and noted that organizers will coordinate with the county and local police. The council also approved a September street closure (Sept. 27) for another Main Street event and a West Main Street closure for the Trick-or-Treat Trail on Oct. 17; for some closures staff reported that county approvals were pending.
Council members asked whether event costs remain covered by grant funding; staff said they would confirm funding sources and follow up.
