Principal Gina Olearczyk presented the Ward Spaulding School advancement plan Sept. 15, telling the board that the plan aligns with the district advancement strategy; board members thanked her and asked about the preschool switch to half‑day and how the Bridges math curriculum supports differentiation.
Principal Kris Pryce presented McAlister Intermediate School’s advancement plan, also aligned with the district plan. Board members thanked Ms. Pryce and asked about the new math and ELA curricula and a local Ecology Explorer program. The minutes note that Board member Michael Sepko left the meeting at 7:29 p.m.
At the close of the agenda, Board member James Mol moved to adjourn; Gianna Rossi seconded the motion. The board adjourned at 8:30 p.m., with all members present at the time voting in favor; Michael Sepko was recorded as having left earlier and absent for the vote. The meeting minutes are subject to approval at the board’s Oct. 6, 2025 regular meeting.
