The Hutchinson City Council approved a new intoxicating liquor license at its March 10 meeting after staff explained the item was required because of an ownership change at Flake Grill and Bar (listed in the packet as Departified Partners LLC).
City staff (speaker 2) said the public hearing was an opportunity for residents to voice concerns; the council opened and then closed the hearing with no public testimony. The mayor then called for a motion to issue the license. “Motion by Pat, second by Tim to approve,” the mayor said; the council voted in favor and the motion carried.
No conditions or objections were recorded during the hearing. The new license was approved by voice vote and staff will complete the licensing paperwork consistent with city procedures.
