Mulligan said TruGreen is required to post small notice signs in treated areas and that staff were told once treated grass is dry it is considered safe for general use; he also said staff would add parks if problems are reported.
Council members pressed for clarity about chemical reactivation (for example after rain); Mulligan stated the company advised that once dry the treatment is safe and staff would work with TruGreen on additional signage if the council wished. After the discussion council approved the contract extension.
