Committee discussion focused on ensuring pre‑sold plots and known burials are correctly identified in the system, providing the grid map to Benton so Sentry can update the digital map, and adding row and plot numbers to improve grave location. Draper reported plans to remove rocks in the older cemetery section so stones can be cleaned and properly marked.
The committee discussed temporary headstone markers for unmarked graves: a starter kit costs approximately $30 and individual plastic markers cost about $13 each but must be purchased in quantities of 100. Members also emphasized that the grant project must be completed and reported to the State by June 30. No formal motion was made on this item during the meeting.
