The Panama City CRA board on April 7 approved a contract with Play More Recreational Products and Services to purchase and install playground equipment at Truesdale Park for $288,154.22.
Staff said the purchase will use a piggyback contract with the School District of Manatee County (contract #26-0041-MR) and will include playground equipment for ages 2—5 and 5—12, safety surfacing (astroturf), site furnishings, and related site improvements following storm damage from Hurricane Michael.
Board discussion was limited; after a motion and second the board approved the contract by roll-call vote.
