The Panama City CRA board approved a $15,000 Commercial Property Improvement (CPI) grant April 7 to Antonio Middleton, owner of Get You A Box at 1415 East 5th Street.
Staff said Middleton applied under the Millville CRA CPI program to support exterior façade enhancements consistent with program guidelines, which aim to improve visual appearance along the US 98/5th Street corridor and encourage reinvestment. The applicant selected the CRA's direct-vendor-payment option; staff will issue payment to the approved contractor after work is completed and compliance verified.
The board moved and unanimously approved the grant by roll call.
