The Planning Commission was informed that administrative-review memos for the Detroit Diamond District and for Ever and Ever wedding studio, both dated March 30 from the Department of Planning and Development, had been received and require no commission vote. Commissioners had no substantive questions about those administrative reviews.
Staff also updated the commission on community engagement for the City's master plan update: the first open house was held March 23, master plan boards will be displayed at City Hall through April 10 and at the public library from April 13 to April 26, and an online engagement portal remains available. Staff said they will keep commissioners informed as the update progresses.
One commissioner reported not receiving a packet; staff committed to follow up with the code enforcement team responsible for physical deliveries.
