Representative Froelich said the Transportation, Housing and Local Government Committee will meet in LSBA for two bills and expected a sizable number of witnesses.
Majority Leader Duran asked the chamber to recognize employees visiting the Capitol for a company-hosted 'employee day' and moved to lay over the balance of the calendar until Wednesday, April 8, 2026; seeing no objection, the balance of the calendar was laid over. Duran then moved that the House stand in recess until later in the day; that motion also carried without objection.
