Other floor actions: The Senate laid over Senate Bill 66 to Wednesday, April 8. Senate Bill 63 (non-emergency medical transportation) was moved to be postponed indefinitely (PI'd) after discussion of fraud and cost concerns and at the motion of Senator Hendrickson. Multiple bills were laid over for subsequent hearings (including Senate Bill 134 and House Bills 10-71 and 10-84). The committee of the whole reported several measures and those committee reports were adopted.
Resolutions and executive messages: The chamber adopted Senate Joint Resolution 18 recognizing Nowruz and expressing solidarity with Iranian Americans and the women life freedom movement. The Senate also received a message from the governor that he had approved several acts on April 6, including Senate Bills 4, 39, 50 and 74.
