The Antioch Unified School District Board on Thursday approved its 2024–25 second interim financial report and ratified tentative labor agreements covering certificated and classified employees and management pay adjustments.
District business official Liz Robbins told trustees the district’s unduplicated pupil count rose by 977 students, an increase of 6.15 percent that boosted Local Control Funding Formula revenue. "Our revenue increased about $6,600,000 and our expenditures increased about $5,400,000," Robbins said, noting the higher spending reflects settled negotiated salary and benefit increases and reclassification of certain technology purchases into capital outlay.
