Owasso OKs SUP for Neosource aircraft maintenance and building addition

Wendy Crane, planning staff, presented SUP25‑03 for Neosource, which seeks permission for support activities for transportation (aircraft maintenance/repair) and a 19,77‑square‑foot addition on a 4.86‑acre industrial‑light parcel at 405 West 2nd Avenue. Crane said the applicant designed the addition to meet facade requirements and that a 6‑foot screening fence and additional tree plantings would mitigate view and compatibility concerns. Planning commission recommended approval (4–0) and staff found the SUP meets the criteria outlined in section 16.1 0.7 of the Owasso zoning code.
Councilors asked clarification questions about the location of the new addition, existing city‑owned sewer lift station nearby, and whether the landscaping shown was already present. Crane confirmed some trees were proposed but not yet planted and that the project would meet the code’s landscaping and screening standards. The council moved and approved the SUP; roll call indicated unanimous support among recorded votes.
