Library board elects vice president and secretary by acclamation, approves Dec. 17 minutes

The Franklin Township Library Board of Trustees elected Ayesha Ali as vice president/treasurer by acclamation and approved Kevin McNeal as secretary during its Jan. 28 regular meeting.
President (chair) opened nominations and a trustee nominated Ayesha Ali, who was elected by voice acclamation after she accepted the nomination. Trustees subsequently nominated Kevin McNeal for secretary and approved his selection by voice; the board noted McNeal was not present when chosen.
During the same portion of the meeting, the board moved to accept the minutes of the Dec. 17 meeting. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously by voice vote.
The board did not record individual roll-call votes for these items. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Feb. 25.
