Springfield Township’s council approved a consent agenda of resolutions, adopted payroll invoices for the most recent pay period and granted two facility-use requests for the Chisholm Community Center.
By unanimous voice, the council moved to adopt Resolutions 2025‑271 through 2025‑281 by consent. The resolutions were bundled and approved as a block; the meeting transcript did not include the itemized text of each resolution, only the resolution range presented for consent.
The council also approved payroll invoices for the pay period Oct. 29, 2025 through Nov. 12, 2025 in the amount of $1,474,186.05. A council member moved the payroll adoption and the motion carried by voice vote.
Two requests to use the Chisholm Community Center were presented and approved: the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance requested permission to continue holding bimonthly meetings there in 2026 and provided a hold‑harmless agreement and insurance certificate; Springfield Hillside BPOE requested to hold youth basketball events at the center on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, also providing the required insurance and hold‑harmless paperwork. Both requests were approved by voice vote.
During general public comment, a participant thanked the township and congratulated local candidates Kathy Guarino and David Novak; council members offered brief congratulations in response. The meeting adjourned shortly thereafter.
