On the zoning chapter reorganization, board members reviewed language making single‑family residences a conditional (not prohibited) use in the business district and requiring such homes to meet single‑family lot standards (including minimum lot area and frontage) to avoid very small, skinny houses in the boulevard business zone. The board moved to forward both items to the council for final action. The board then entered executive session to discuss litigation matters.
