The Scotland Public Library Board elected Joanne Todd chair and approved routine meeting business at its Dec. 10 meeting.
Vice Chairperson Beth Delaney called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. and read the attendance before the board approved the November minutes. Bobbie Maschka moved to accept the minutes; Charlotte McLevy seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
Treasurer Angela Maschka presented the November financial report and said the library’s trust account is doing well. Bobbie Maschka moved to accept the treasurer’s report; Leahbeth Scandura seconded and the motion carried.
On nominations, Bobbie Maschka nominated a slate of officers for 2025: Joanne Todd as chair, Beth Delaney as vice chair, Angela Maschka as treasurer and Brenda Gagnon as secretary. Leahbeth Scandura seconded the nomination and “all members were in favor of the slate,” according to meeting minutes, which indicate the slate was approved unanimously by those present.
The board also noted that its 2025 meeting dates were submitted to the town clerk. Vice Chairperson Delaney adjourned the meeting at 7:32 p.m.
