The Lincoln County Board of County Commissioners on April 23 approved minutes from multiple recent budget meetings and moved to fill openings on a range of local advisory boards.
The board, presided over by the chair (speaker 1), approved minutes from planning department, treasury, justice court and adult probation, and the regular commissioners meeting by voice vote after motions and seconds from commissioners present.
The commission then considered applications for 11 boards. Commissioners appointed Katherine Schloder to the Lead Board; Janette Ivers and Herb Cargill to the Ambulance Board (one Eureka seat remained vacant); Killian Coleman to the Fair Board; Sean Vandenberg and Ron Visdak to the Eureka Fire Service Area; Gary Wood to the Lincoln County Rural Fire District; Jamie Campbell and Jordan Graves to the Troy Park District; William Vander Warden and Gary Lynch to the Upper Yak buyer service area; and Joseph Taylor and Tina Oliphant to the Libby Park District. Several boards were noted to still have vacancies and the commission encouraged interested residents to apply.
No public comment was recorded on the appointments. The board conducted the votes individually and approved each nomination by voice vote.
