He credited coroner personnel for coordination with families and organ‑procurement organizations.
Separately, the board presented a proclamation for Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month to Glenn Osteen, who said he is both a county employee and a parent of a child with autism. "I'm the father of a little boy named Eli. Eli is autistic. He's creative. He's curious, and he's brilliant," Osteen said, urging support for families living with autism.
The recognitions were presented as part of special acknowledgements near the start of the meeting; no formal board action was required beyond the ceremonial proclamation.
