Parks, Arts & Recreation Commission elects chair and vice chair; approves minutes

At the start of the meeting the Los Altos Parks, Arts & Recreation Commission handled routine governance items: members approved minutes from the previous meeting and elected leadership for the coming term.
The commission moved to approve the prior meeting minutes and took a roll-call vote approving them. Later in the meeting nominations were opened for chair. A commissioner nominated Commissioner Morris; the nomination was seconded and the commission approved the appointment by roll call. The liaison then handed the meeting over to the newly appointed chair.
The commission followed the same process to select a vice chair, received a nomination, and approved the appointment unanimously. Commissioners then proceeded to the rest of the published agenda.
