City Council approves fire station project contract, extends moratorium and confirms appointments

Mayor Mary Parham Copeland presided as the council approved Resolution R-2601-O2, authorizing the mayor to execute a professional services contract with Project Management Solutions for project management services for the Fire and Rescue Station No. 3 renovation. The motion passed on a roll call; one council member abstained because of a personal relationship with an employee of Project Management Solutions. The council recorded the abstention on the public roll call and adopted the resolution.
