Supervisor Crosby, Supervisor Gomez and Supervisor Anthony Ray were present in person. A motion to approve the two consent items was made and seconded; the board voted three ayes, and the chair announced, “Motion carries 3 0.”
The meeting included procedural notices from the presiding chair about possible agenda changes and that meeting materials displayed at the board could differ from attached versions. The chair also reviewed public comment procedures, saying speakers must return a request form to the clerk by 9 a.m. on the day of the meeting.
Before adjourning, the chair invited attendees to stay for an afternoon discussion of proposed changes to the county flood control plan, saying the board would consider revisions intended "to improve, recharge efforts in the county." No formal action on the flood control plan occurred at the meeting.
The board adjourned and said its next session would be the jail district meeting. Any substantive action on the flood control plan will appear on a future agenda and was not decided at this meeting.
