Holly Area Schools reports more than 700 attend Health and Enrollment Fair

Superintendent Roper reported at the Aug. 11 Holly Area School District board meeting that the district’s Aug. 2 Health and Enrollment Fair and Broncho Parent Camp welcomed more than 700 parents and students and strengthened partnerships with community organizations.
According to the report, the event provided more than 380 backpacks and supply bags, 30 sports physicals, 20 K–12 enrollments, five early-childhood enrollments, more than 30 student haircuts, and 500 lunches for families. District staff, community organizations and local police and fire departments participated.
Board members praised the turnout. Mr. Deahl read a note of appreciation for recent greenhouse renovations at the high school; Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Blair described the strong community presence and volunteer contributions. The district said LEAD Ambassadors—more than 30 students—began training to guide tours of the new Middle School at upcoming events such as Schedule Pickup and Open House.
