Senator Driscoll recognizes Milton girls’ soccer team’s Division 2 state title

Driscoll said the team earned a 2–1 victory over King Philip at TD Garden and finished the season 25‑1‑1. He singled out senior captains Sabrina Stone and Maren Hart and thanked head coach Matt Lodi and assistant coaches Mark Knapp, Maggie Radley and junior varsity coach Liz Halsey for their leadership. "So I wanna thank the coaches as well," he said.
The recognition was ceremonial; no legislative action was attached. The team and coaches were welcomed to the State House and acknowledged by the chamber before the Senate moved on to the business of passing bills and taking up committee reports.
