Scotland County27s Board of Health on April 6 voted to appoint Amanda Holland as temporary health department director and approved the county27s participation as a regional site in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), officials said.
Amanda Holland, who presented an accreditation update to the board, said the site visit team "recommended a status of conditional accreditation. They designated that 114 out of a 147 activities as being met." Holland told the board the department will have two years to complete a continuous quality improvement plan and has created a task tracker that assigns lead and support staff to unresolved activities.
