Oswego trustees consider allowing capped maintenance items in downtown grant program

Kevin, economic development staff, told the board the village’s Economic Development Incentive Award began in 2014 as a facade program and was broadened in 2018 to allow interior and exterior upgrades intended to create permanent, affixed improvements that increase downtown marketability. "This program is only for the downtown business district," Kevin said, noting past approvals for projects such as Freddy's Off the Chain, Happenstance Goods and Nash Vegas Saloon.
