The presentation included itemized figures for each section and an estimate the two prioritized options would total about $196,000 before allowance for any damaged roof deck. Staff reported $85,000 received from insurance with an additional $40,000 expected after a pending process; after insurance the board would face an estimated balance of roughly $71,599 for the prioritized work.
Board members asked questions about procurement and whether the ice-and-water shield should be installed; staff urged the board to include that membrane to prevent future leaks. The board voted to proceed with procurement for options 1 and 3 and to include the remaining sections in the capital improvements program for later years.
